Since 1937, Iran’s first tanker production factory, called Azari Tanker Manufacturing factory, became operational in the western part of Tehran. Hassan Azarian was the founder of the factory.
Later on, Vazin Industrial Factory was formed in 1978, giving a fresh momentum to the renovation and modernization of Iran’s road transport fleet involved in carrying fuel.
In 1989, a project known as ‘chassisless’ or ‘without chassis’ was implemented for manufacturing two-axle tanker trailers. In 1999, however, another project was initiated, as a complementary plan to the previous one, to produce three-axle tanker trailers with a higher transport capacity.
Concurrent with the use of methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) gaining a greater popularity as a fuel additive in 1999, Vazin Industrial Group initiated two other projects to equip its tankers carrying the product with bottom loading and vapor recovery systems.
It has been for years that this group has been carrying the fuel consumed in the country thanks to its constant and successful innovation in manufacturing high-quality tankers. To maintain the long-held status of this complex, its second generation Called ‘Vazin Factory’ has followed the same path so far in an effort to keep its name alive; and today, with the cooperation of the third generation of the complex, which is operating in the format of ‘Vazin Industrial Group’, it is continuing its progress.
Vazin Industrial Group consists of four subsidiary companies:
1. Vazin Azari Persia Company
2. Vazin Persia Company
3. Vazin Takvin Company
4. Vazin Petro Company
The products of Vazin Industrial Group in different production and commercial fields pertain to oil, gas and petrochemical industries, which will be briefly described.
